3.1.08 Mason jar
A lighting fixture at a restaurant called The Mason Jar. I love the glow in the jar and the texture of the wood behind it.
I believe I have discovered that I have a bit of an addiction to capturing light on camera...

that's a cool shot - very warm. What did you eat?
ReplyDeleteLet's see...I had chicken fried chicken with this killer white pepper gravy, mashed potatoes, and green beans. And my husband had chicken fried steak with the same sides. Needless to say, we were hobbling out of there, completely stuffed!
ReplyDeleteOh, and thanks for the compliments on the shot, by the way! :oD
ReplyDeleteI must admit, I'm really enjoying the excuse to take and post a picture every day!
ReplyDeleteNice shot! Once you've discovered the addiction to photographing light you will see yourself being drawn to it more and more each day.
ReplyDeleteThanks, James! I agree with being drawn to it. I've been using less flash since I started this project too--natural and ambient light is so much prettier.
ReplyDeleteSara, yes! Isn't it great fun? :o)
Amen to that. I was just talking to Bryan yesterday and we both agreed we needed to get a faster lens to allow more indoor shots without a flash. There is a point on my favorite lens where 3.5 just doesn't cut it.
