We went to a late showing of Dark Knight, so even though I went out on Friday, this picture was technically taken on Saturday--just in the early morning. :oP
It's an awesome movie, but I would warn parents to take the PG-13 rating seriously. Check it out before letting your 13 year old or younger child in to see it. There's not a lot of gore. (In fact, very little overall.) However, the psychotic and sometimes startling actions of the Joker can be a bit disturbing for an unprepared viewer.

Definitely my new favorite movie, but yeah, it's a very intense PG-13. The violence is FELT rather than SEEN, which makes it creepier. And it's easy to blame it all on The Joker, but let's face it, Two Face isn't exactly the tamest thing to hit the silver screen either. (But, I'll admit, those two guys, especially The Joker, is what brought me back to the movie theater for repeat viewings!)
ReplyDeleteSo, yeah, awesome awesome movie, but for the younger crowds, I advise practicing some discretion. I saw parents standing in line with their kids (who sported Batman cartoon t-shirts) ranging in age from 4 to 9. Not cool. This definitely isn't one for the kiddos.
