I took this the day after opening night for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland at a brand new high-tech 3D theater. I used the landscape feature on my camera which takes three pictures that you line up as you take them. An observant person will notice that I goofed a little bit. :oP (Click the image for a larger version.)

If you see Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, be sure to sit through the end credits. CGI fans will love it.

7.19.08 The Joker

We went to a late showing of Dark Knight, so even though I went out on Friday, this picture was technically taken on Saturday--just in the early morning. :oP

It's an awesome movie, but I would warn parents to take the PG-13 rating seriously. Check it out before letting your 13 year old or younger child in to see it. There's not a lot of gore. (In fact, very little overall.) However, the psychotic and sometimes startling actions of the Joker can be a bit disturbing for an unprepared viewer.

We watched a couple movies on the big screens at our church. Both films were made by some of the teens and their friends.

5.30.08 Go, go, Speed Racer!

The movie didn't get great reviews. I was only one of four people in the theater. But man, I grew up on Speed Racer and Japanese animation, I love the Wachowski brothers' work (e.g. The Matrix), and so for me, Speed Racer 2008 totally rocked.

1.13.08 The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything

My daughter and I went to the movies tonight and saw "A Veggie Tales Movie: The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything." Wonderful show! This is actually a shot of the movie screen.
