Project 365: 4/365 - Immunization Day
My son starts kindergarten in the fall, so that meant that we had to get his shot record up-to-date. Just two shots this time, but whether it's one or six, it's never fun. :o(

Meep! Shots aren't fun. I don't envy your poor son.
ReplyDeleteYeah, he doesn't do well with shots. We had to hold him down. :o( But at least he recovered quickly.
ReplyDeleteOh no! You had to hold him down?!?! Boo, that's so sad! Hopefully the fun bandaid helps!
ReplyDeleteI think it's more the anticipation of the pain that is worse for him than the actual pain. He gets really scared about it because, I believe, he builds it up in his mind. When it's over, he usually gets over it pretty fast. An iPod helps too!
ReplyDeleteAw. I know what's it like to have a child who doesn't do well with needles. When my sister used to get her blood drawn for her heart appointments every year, they would always have to hold her down. She did grow out of it, though, so there should be hope. :) And an iPod really does help a lot!
ReplyDeleteI'm confused. Why are there bandaids in a Wonder sandwich box? :P (I use that same box to pack my lunch in when I go to school).
ReplyDeleteHa! I don't know, EE. I guess they're trying to make everything fun. XD
