Day 7: Tired, tired, tired

Okay, maybe my husband was right in his thinking that this would be hard for someone who is ultimately going to feel fatigue with or without extra sleep. I am so tired now that I was typing with my eyes closed. Unfortunately, one wrong move and your writing looks like this:

O'ts stranlkge hjow you want to make thi;gs 'ppls [s [erfe;t spo,metim,es.

Oh well. I nearly stopped at 950 words, but when I saw that I only had 50 more to go before I got to 1,000, I pushed my mind and story through. The problem I had tonight is that the story was flowing well, but my mind just wasn't there to get it down.

I have high hopes for catching up on the weekends. Here's to the end of Week 1...

Words to date: 11,650
Words to go: 38,350

  2. I'm still not sure if this will take or not. I tried to comment on a couple of other entries but it seemed to put my entry into a black hole. Remember Sunday's count -- you can do that again when you get rested.

  3. It's okay if you don't get your word count done due to lack of sleep. Just remember Mangy, your health is more important than a story. I know you may want to get it done but what good is a story if you can't read it?

  4. Thanks, ladies! Yes, my hopes are for catching up every weekend. Hopefully I can go get some writing done Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays so I can really get ahead. :oP

  5. You can do it, Mangy. :) I know how it is to be so tired you feel like your eyes go crossed if they're open.

I'm kind of like that now...not sure if I'll make it to NaNo today...
